This policy applies to monthly classes booked after the free trial.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Quick summary
- To reschedule a class, tell us in your class WhatsApp group at least 60 minutes before the class starts, including notice given up to one day in advance.
- You can reschedule up to 3 classes per month. A 4th (or further) reschedule request in the same month means the class is counted as used and is not rescheduled.
- If you tell us less than 60 minutes before the class, or the student does not join within 15–20 minutes, the class counts as used and is not rescheduled. If your tutor cancels, or a class is interrupted by an internet or power problem, the class is given again.
- To pause or stop classes, give at least 15 days’ notice (one month is ideal). Tutor changes start from the next month.
1. Who this policy is for
This policy covers monthly one-to-one classes that you book after your child’s free trial. It does not apply to trial classes.
2. How to reschedule a class
If your child cannot attend a class, please let us know in your class WhatsApp group at least 60 minutes before the class starts, including notice given up to one day in advance.
When you give this notice, the class is not counted as used and will be rescheduled.
3. How many classes you can reschedule
You can reschedule up to 3 classes per month. A 4th (or further) reschedule request in the same month means the class is counted as used and is not rescheduled.
4. When the rescheduled class takes place
Your tutor decides the new time based on their availability and confirms it in your class WhatsApp group. Rescheduled classes are usually arranged the next day or within the same week. Rescheduled classes do not carry over to the next month.
5. Late notice and missed classes
- If you tell us at least 60 minutes before the class starts, the class will be rescheduled.
- If you tell us less than 60 minutes before the class starts, the class will not be rescheduled and will count as used.
- Your tutor will wait up to 15–20 minutes for the student to join. If the student does not join or reply in that time, the class will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
6. If your tutor cancels or reschedules
If your tutor cancels or reschedules a class, a make-up class will be arranged. Your tutor will confirm the new time with you in your class WhatsApp group.
7. Internet or power problems
If a class is interrupted due to an internet or power problem, the class will be given again at a new time arranged with your tutor.
8. Pausing or stopping classes
If your child will not continue classes next month, or you need a break for summer vacation or Eid holidays, please tell us at least 15 days in advance. One month’s notice is ideal because it helps us plan your child’s classes.
9. Changing your tutor
Tutor change requests should be sent to the TutorDock team, not to the tutor. Since classes are arranged on a monthly basis, a new tutor can be assigned from the start of the next month, rather than during the current month.
10. Exceptional circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations can happen. In exceptional situations, the TutorDock team may make exceptions to this policy, reviewed case by case. Please contact the TutorDock team to discuss your situation.
